You sit in a train. It keeps moving. Every second flies past. You feel like you are moving, but you are wasting every moment, every second sitting still, letting the wheels carry you away. The memories flash past. They never come back. It was a split-second thing.
Just a flash. Then nothing.
A flash. Nothing again.
It's just a cycle. A cycle that never stops unless an immovable object is in its way. Too small, the wheels roll over it, they leave it behind - in the past. Sometimes we look back. The rock is too small to be even visible. The train accelerates. At least, relatively accelerating, as the rock diminishes into a small black dot. Then nothing.
Lost. lost in the capsule of time. Never coming back. You always want it to come back. You'll always hope for a de ja vu. Whether it comes or not. Let reality take its course. Let reality decide. Sometimes, you just wanna stop that train. The cabin door's locked. The captain's oblivious to your appeals. Maybe there's no captain at all. Behind those closed doors, we don't know. Who's driving, at the speed of time?
One alternative. Put your body in the way. But - how calculated is that risk. How sure are you, that you will stop the train? How sure are you, that the train won't leave you in the memories of time? Speed up, and accelerate into the depths of the future. Whether darkness or light wait for you, that's up to that train.
You. Alone. In it.
I just wished it would stop. Just for a second.
Yes. One second. HUSH.

Why do all good things come to an end?
(no emphasis on the first two lines :D)
Just whyy.
