They hit the glass pane at astonishing pressure and speed. Sending vibrations coursing up the window into the curtains.
A drop.
Two.
Four.
Eight.
Fill in the equations yourself - They came down exponentially.
Torrents.
Rain.
It really doesn't know when to end.
Wind.
It blew through the small cracks of the window sill, bringing a howl ever so incessant.
Thunder.
Its mind-boggling scream sent vibrations shivering from the eardrums down the spine.
Lightning.
It shot down to the ground like owl on its prey - only fast-forwarded.
It beholds a piece of an unfortunate memory. Thunderstorms. Wet soaking shoes that take forever to dry. Frantic drying of wet papers. But it still keeps a small speck of joy that can only be found, when we search for it. That pair of wet soaking shoes, kept me a piece of unforgettable memory - a beautiful and awesome experience for everyone of us to share, and to keep. It beholds the time you only manage to keep your head dry under that almost-useless umbrella in a raging thunderstorm.
Seated, snugged warm in my seat I peer out of the window again.
Rain, was a thing to smile at, after all (:
